On June 5, the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) announced its decision on the winners of the 25th China Patent Awards. Jiangsu Jiulang High-Tech Co., Ltd. received a China Patent Excellence Award for its independently developed invention patent, “A Preparation Method for a Silicon Carbide Separation Membrane.” Following its previous recognition at the 22nd China Patent Awards, this marks another national-level patent honor for the company and demonstrates its continued leadership in silicon carbide separation membrane innovation.
The China Patent Award is the country’s highest honor in the field of intellectual property and its only national award dedicated specifically to recognizing patented inventions and innovations. Jointly presented by CNIPA and the World Intellectual Property Organization, it is an internationally influential intellectual property award. The company’s selection from tens of thousands of candidate patents once again demonstrates the technological strength and market value of its achievements.
The award-winning patent, “A Preparation Method for a Silicon Carbide Separation Membrane,” was developed by the company’s research team following several years of intensive work. Through a distinctive raw-material formulation, precise process control, and advanced manufacturing techniques, the technology addresses major limitations of conventional silicon carbide membrane production, including high costs, difficulty controlling pore size, and low product yields. The resulting silicon carbide separation membranes offer high strength, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature resistance, delivering outstanding filtration efficiency and stability in applications such as industrial flue-gas purification, water treatment, and chemical separation.
